Sometimes I am inspecting a home for two occupants.
Chelan Home Inspections
Home inspectors are trying to look out for the new home buyer. Often I find that the home is already being occupied by another.
Here we have the House Sparrow that has taken up residence in the soffit of the home. These chirping little brown birds that were brought over from Europe in the 19th century.
The House Sparrow since arriving in the New World has been busy and can be found pretty much wherever humans habitats are.
Unfortunately bird nesting on the home can lead to sanitary, cleaning and maintenance issues. The new homeowner may want to look into deterrents to prevent nesting activities.
Sparrows nest in spring and summer. They love to nest in buildings, holes and bushes. They are often attracted to your garden, lawn area or song bird feeders. Habitat modification is often one of the best and most humane method of deterring them from nesting on the home.

"Tell me not of joy: there's none Now my little sparrow's gone; He, just as you, Would toy and woo, He would chirp and flatter me, He would hang the wing awhile, Till at length he saw me smile, Lord! how sullen he would be!"
