I found this note that was carefully folded with "Important!" writen on the side and probably given to a friend. Inside the note says,
"Judy, this is part of the glove I touched the Beatles things with. Here is some of the vital information.
Time: Approx. 8:30 pm
Date: Nov. 28, 1964, Saturday
Place: 6014 Mulanite, Houston Texas
Touched: A Scotch bottle, Beatle book, sea shell found on an airplane in the compartment occupied by the Beatles. Dallas, Texas 1964 (Sept.)
P. S. Sorry the glove is dirty. But I didn't have time to wash it before I touched the stuff!"
And inside the note was the glove piece which shows in the picture above! For some reason this made me laugh and laugh. I knew kids loved the Beatles but I didn't realize it went this far!! And it had been saved since 1964! Studying it now makes me wonder about a few things. Two different dates? Why? Wearing gloves? For cleaning up or for fashion? There's a little mystery going on here......
