Hiring the right real estate agent is important. Here's an example. I last week I took a look at all the active listings in my own neighborhood. Not a single one had the correct elementary school listed, and one also had the wrong high school. A neighboring community of condos also had more than half incorrectly list the elementary school. ( And some of these agents are well known or "area specialists"). Why is this important? Many people search for homes based on the school. That means they could be missing out on your listing, or maybe they want the incorrectly listed school only to find out later it's not correct, and then they will be very upset.
