Bob Crane has a new challenge for the last quarter of the year. This includes writing a post that shares our plans and how we are doing thus far.
In reviewing our theme for 2016 “Always Bring the Best Version of YOU to the Game,” we have a three fold premise:
-- Shift the focus of your game from marketing luxury real estate to marketing YOU
-- Exponentially increase the number of high-trust relationships you have
-- Clearly articulate your Extraordinary Promise of Value (EVP) and have that message fully expressed throughout your website, so the site becomes your “silent salesperson.”
Mid-year we concluded that we wanted to do more business in our hometown of Santa Barbara, and spend less business travel time. That meant being even more selective regarding out of town clients and also expanding the scope of our local services.
Our experience as leaders in brand strategy for the luxury real estate industry has yielded powerful insights that can and should be applied by any local service professional or local business owner who aspires to achieve top-of-mind status in their marketplace. Our top priority shifted to the goal of dramatically increasing LOCAL high trust relationships and referral sources here in town.
The last 100 days of 2016 will be focused on exponentially increasing our local sphere of influence. This required that we expand our EVP:
The Art of Local Niche Marketing in Affluent Communities
When you are clear about your EVP, it makes it easier for others to quickly spread the word about you. We are happy with our results, and blue skies ahead!.
\Wishing you a great rest of the year!
