We are really fortunate in Sacramento that we have so many excellent music venues, and we don't always have to drive to San Francisco to see national acts on tour. Because we just saw Jenny Lewis at the Masonic in San Francisco's Nob Hill, I didn't want to make a second trip to the City, so picking up tickets for the Sacramento Community Center seemed a wiser choice to catch Brian Wilson on tour for the 50th anniversary of Pet Sounds.
Who doesn't love the Beach Boys and all of the history that entails? Plus, Pet Sounds was such a breakthrough album, much of which is still remarkable.
