Can you feel that? The chill in the air indicates a change of seasons. We are in the final month of this year. To celebrate the holidays, you should come to the Ventura 2016 Parade of Lights. Can't make it out on Friday, December 16th? That's OK. Catch it on the following day instead. Or, go to both!

Ventura 2016 Parade of Lights

The Ventura Harbor Village hosts their Ventura 2016 Parade of Lights on December 16th and 17th. This year's theme is "Parks on Parade" in honor of our National Parks' 100th birthday. The parade starts at 6pm on Friday and Saturday evenings near the public launch ramp. The participants make two passes around the harbor. Each boat passing through the harbor showcases a different national park or landmark. Both evenings include a fabulous fireworks display at the end of the parade. After the parade, come to the Village Main Lawn for carnival rides and plenty of games.

On Saturday, December 17th, you may want to come out a little early. That's because the Ventura Harbor Village transforms into their Winter Wonderland and Holiday Marketplace. Carolers sing traditional holiday tunes. Santa and the Mrs. make themselves available for pictures. Even the reindeer traveled all the way from the North Pole to join the fun! Local vendors sell their one-of-a-kind holiday merchandise. It'll be a great time to finish up any last minute Christmas shopping you may have.
