So what are some of the keys to selling your home...
1. GET ALL THE INFORMATION: Not every market is a good market to sell into. You will want to connect with your local Realtor to get information on the current local market. Let them help you know when the market window is ripe for selling your property.
2. TRY TO EMOTIONALLY DISCONNECT: It is difficult to not allow your emotions to drive your decision making on setting the price, making repairs or marketing strategies. That said it is vital that you see this as an important business decision. Get a fresh look at your property through the honest appraisal of those not so emotionally tied to it.
3. COMMIT TO SELLING: That commitment will likely involve your wallet. Improvements and repairs may be needed. You are not likely the only home for sale in your community so do what is needed to make your home stand out and sell first. Your Realtor can help you determine what needs to be done. A good seller is one that is all in for the sale.
