There is nothing like a passing cloud to wake up my imagination. This one chose to introduce itself when I looked away from my other so-called "window" on the computer for moment...as if the cloud was calling me to say hello. Clouds on a blue sky are one of the things my dad always taught me to look for when I was five and growing up, without much of a view between buildings, in a factory city in Connecticut. The way I could always find them was to lie down on the ground and look up at the sky and wait for a big cloud to pass over me. I think that was when I began to tell cloud stories. I did not have a camera or an iphone like today. I did have crayons and an extended family audience for my cloud stories. Today, I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico where there is an endless blue sky filled with clouds. Here I no longer have to lie on the ground and wait, I only have to look up...and smile.
Now if you want more stunning white clouds and an endless blue sky in your life, let me know when you are ready to follow the clouds to Santa Fe. I can introduce you to our community and landscape. You will quickly learn why clouds rule here. Thanks for looking!
