The ED Principle

As I think about Networking, I look at stacks of cards, attempting to put faces to their names.  

What is it that makes one memorable in networking?  I think it's the ED Principle....

What, you say, is the ED Principle?  Well, have you ever met someone who is fascinating to listen to?  They are well read, well traveled, well, just well EVERYTHING!  They're so very interesting.  Yet, did they make an impression?  

Consider the ED Principle.  The Principle that says that you're more interest-ED in them than interest-ing to them.  As you practice the ED Principle, you'll be known as a brilliant conversationalist.  Asking questions, saying, "tell me more about that,"  will cause you to be memorable!

A network is a group of people interest-ED in something common!

Simply put,  birds of the same feather flock together!

Praful, thank you!   I just had some work done on my LinkedIn Account.  She encouraged me to start writing articles.  So, that means writing 2 or more articles per day.  One for ActiveRain, one for LinkedIn and I must start a blog for my book...  The 5 Week Formula for a Better Brain.

I didn't label the video, so I do NOT know which video I attempted to post in this article.  Here's a gift, something I was listening to today...  Tony Robbins "The Power of Anticipation"  He talked about Wayne Gretsky who didn't skate to where the puck WAS, he skated to where the puck was GOING!
