Welcome to the ongoing weekly series called Tuesday Travelogue. We are in our 134th week!
Each week, some ActiveRain bloggers are spotlighted to take us somewhere we may not have been on some kind of virtual travel (and it doesn't cost a dime!). Here is the purpose:
to enjoy the ride"
"take a trip without even leaving the farm"
"expand your horizons"
"see through someone else's eyes"
and hopefully much more!
Summer is blooming! And I thought we'd start out with some jaw-dropping photos from an Arizona monsoon a year ago in July. Sheri Sperry brings it!
What's July without fireworks? And three times a year you can see them in Saugutuk Michigan! Loved this explosion of night color, photos by Ted Swoboda through Rate a Home.
I always love traveling with Rene Fabre as he does a lot of it in WA state and he usually delivers a quick shot or two while in his vehicle, along with some snippet of the mindwalk that the photo takes him on and this one is just a simple pleasure we get to enjoy with him!
Ever heard of Trout Lake? It's in CO, and this is a wonderful past travel series that Gene Wunderlich shared with us.
There is something that really touches me about this photo and Bob Crane gives us more of that romance of being on a lake as summer appears on his local horizon. This was Memorial Day, but so glorious that I had to make sure to include it as he waxes philosophic about it and more. Summer in the Northwoods.
Please don't forget to comment on these blog posts and I hope that you enjoyed all of these virtual travels.
