Speechless Sundays - Granny Flat in the Sky?
Visiting the USS Constitution in Boston, MA with Lisa Von Domek last week, I pondered thought of having my own granny flat (ADU) right on the Bay - even if it is on stilts! Ahh, those views would be spectacular. The only problem I found was accessing the flat - especially with an armload of groceries!

Debe, just reading your post my knee started hurting and it was an excruciating pain.... so with that said may I suggest the granny flat to be maybe in a boat on the water?:))Endre

Oh, I'm all for a yacht, Endre Barath, Jr. - that's just not in the budget! 
It was quite interesting, James Dray - Boston was just chock-full of fascinating history. I could have spent a full week touring!
LOL Yes, but, oh the possibilities, Joe Pryor! I believe an elevator would be my priority!
Ha! Yes, the bones are good and the view, spectacular! We'd have to install an elevator to get our contractors and decorators in so the job wouldn't take years to complete, Lisa Von Domek!! Really - wouldn't that be such a fun project?!
No, the ADA wouldn't approve, Myrl Jeffcoat but, elevators are not too pricey! We'd have to have one installed...for Ray and for me! LOL
