Lancaster County only has county taxes, no city taxes and the county property taxes are quite low. From a cost of housing standpoint, that was where I took my entry level and more modest budget buyers... but no more. Hard to find anything these days under high $200,000's.

Joe Pryor hi Joe... because Charlotte area was never a very speculative housing market, while we thought we had a meltdown, compared to the rest of the country it was no meltdown. And our downturn came almost a year after the rest of the country was feeling pain and when things started to turn we were one of the first to turn positive.
