WINNING - What is Exciting About it That Makes it Important

How many ways are there to win? Wow! A really big number.

Today I will talk about two types of winning.

One form of winning is Toastmasters.

First some facts about Toastmasters: It has nothing to do with toast in your toaster for breakfast.

And it is not about taking a glass and tapping it against another glass of liquid someone else is holding.

Always good to have a little humor in your speech.

It does help you increase your communication skills, by slowly training you to have confidence to speak in front of people.

Doesn’t matter if it is one person or 100,000 people.

Now winning an international speech contest has six steps to it:

Club, area, division, district, regional and international world champion.

To me, it is not about the trophy you can win, it is improving yourself, and being able to help others do the same thing.

Toastmaster clubs are around the world and around 500,000 of us.

It is being able to have reached a level to where I am not afraid to speak to any group of people.

The cost is a mere $60. To $90. For SIX MONTHS!

This is the least expensive most valuable opportunity you will ever experience in life.

And owning a home along with it, well let’s just say gives you a reason to jump out of bed daily.

Find a club this week visit, find a second club next week and visit.

Second kind of winning is helping someone become a home owner or to sell a home.  

This kind of winning can give you a rush in the mind, of how you have helped someone make their greatest investment in their life.

An item that has appreciated for years in America.

Seeing and hearing their words that convey happiness and handing them their key to their home is ______________ Well you put the word in there, truly uplifting.

Helping some sell a home, is equally uplifting, they are moving to another home, either larger or smaller, or across country due to a job transfer.

Seeing that everything goes just right and help the sellers have far less stress because this can be a stressful event to many people.

Taking away that stress with strong communications twice a week.

Is a great feeling.
