The Story of Pink: Tempering Passion With Purity!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants DRE00893924

We often refer the Pantone color Institute and their color swatches when working with colors for our clients branding. These lovely pink lisianthus caught our attention.  If you look closely, you may discern many hues of pink from soft shades to deeper shades of pink.  Here is how Pantone describes basic pink.

Tempering passion with purity, the lighter, most gentle, blissful and acquiescent of the red family elicits an aura of innocent romance. A pleasing and most welcoming colour group, those who display an optimistic outlook are said to look at the world through “rose-tinted glasses”, while people whose face has a rosy glow, are often thought to look healthier. LAURIE PRESSMAN

Here is a partial list of brand names with pink logos: T-Mobile, Baskin Robbins, lyft, and Taco Bell, and Thomas Pink Shirtmaker for Men.  Wishing you a continued optimistic outlook!

Happy Sunday!

Good morning, Alexandra and Ron - one of the things I was thinking as I was reading your pink post today was how you have shared the importance of nature as you use it as inspiration with branding.  I digress....  Of course when it comes to ActiveRain I know of many members who are passionate about pink including Nina Hollander

Colors do seem more vibrant when there is a blend of different shades of that color.

I like the description of pink. I love flowers with different shades of the color in them and roses are a wonderful example.   Wishing you a Sunday filled with passion and purity.

I've grown to appreciate pink - it used to be one of my least favorite colors. No doubt, because it was somewhat stereotypically girly. Now, the many softer shades of blush are just so gorgeous, I'm a huge fan.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD I am glad you brought up the blush shades, they do add to strong colors a calming effect.  So many ranges of pinks.  A

Happy Sunday Ron and Alexandra- I see many shades of pink in your photo and not one shade reminds me of Pepto Bismal!!!  My great niece is absolutely in love with the color pink.

While I don't often select pink for a color in my wardrobe, because it accentuates my overly pink complexion, I must say those blossoms have a delicious hue.

Hi Ron and Alexandra Seigel I like pink and always have. I fondly remember the most girlie pink and ruffly dress a teen could have and it was mine! Now of course it wouldn't be my choice but nice pink shirt , you bet. And pink flowers are always welcome in my home!

Anna Banana Kruchten CRB, CRS 602-380-4886 I have an affinity for the hot pink colors, rather than the pastels, although I bought what Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD refers to as a blush top in Florence (ie a fancy t shirt).  A

Myrl Jeffcoat what Pantone referred to as a rosey complexion.  I can understand that pink would not work for you. Flowers always are lovely in Pink.  A
