Speechless Sundays - Barneys 'Deer' Friends are Baaack!
This dog cracks us up! He will be sleeping like a baby and suddenly, jump up, ready to race outside to see his 'deer friends!'
This time, the deer were younger and were more curious about Barney than anything. Evidently they're aren't used to little fur babies welcoming them to their backyard!

What a glorious gif, and I love that photo. We had deer on our property both in Los Angeles and in Napa and our cats got along with them, and seemend to have conversations...I am sure that Barney is exchanging wisdom on human behavior patterns. A

Barney's quite the guard dog, Debe Maxwell, CRS! When we lived in our former home, we were surrounded by woods and a small little stream ran along the back-end of our property. We had deer visit us almost daily. Now that we're in our current location, I sorely miss seeing them. You brought me fond memories with your pic ... thanks to Barney!

Debe, love the photo. Our Zeke always starts barking when the deer come into our yard, which is every day. He will run out and chase them out of the yard, then come back in. Showing whos is boss in his yard! Yet, the deer return :)
