Being a buyers agent versus a listing agent

Buyers agent aka Buyers representative - they are synonymous terms.

That is the title for the agent who is representing the home buyer. The reason why this may be of concern to a home buyer is the fact that most agents want to be listing agents. If they have a team in place they may want you to work with someone who does not normally work with sellers on their team.

This was important for me to bring up because of the team concept. Some work well within a real estate team and the leader does a great job with client care.

The "client care" is extremely important if the "said" agent was the reason for the procurement of the lead in the first place.

Some clients are incredibly offended when assigned to another agent.

If you have any time on the job as a Realtor, you probably have experienced this when you have been interviewed by those who left their previous agent for you.

I do understand. All the GREAT trainers in the real estate world preach "be a listing agent". That is where the "guaranteed" money is. I get it, you have a seller that is a part of an actual contract that has rules within.

However, I do know the importance of buyer representation. I know that the home buyer wants to have the best real estate agent they can find also.

Let me know if I missed it on this one. I always appreciate your support!

Connor, we see very few Buyers Agents ONLY in Denver, and I work with both and like that, as I see both sides of the spectrum.
