This year, the Easter bunny may have to be a little more creative with his bag of tricks when it comes to throwing a festive and fun Easter for your children. One of the many activities children look forward to every year is a big community egg hunt. Since that won’t be happening this year, here are some ways to make sure your Easter is fun and celebratory while staying safe.
1) Plan early. If you want to cook and serve a traditional Easter dinner, plan ahead with your shopping list and be flexible on alternative food items. And if you want to dye Easter eggs with your children, start looking soon for eggs, vinegar and dying kits.
2) Involve your neighbors. If your neighborhood has a community Facebook page or bulletin board, plan some fun activities that everyone can participate in while social distancing.
