Today we arrive in Virginia, not West Virgina, just Virginia, and there are two state songs, one that has been retired and another that was established as the State song in 2015. Let's begin with the former state song Carry me back to old Virginny.
The new song is Our Great Virginia, sung to the tune of Old Shenandoah.
At the same time the state assembly also made Sweet Virgina Breeze the State's popular state song. Here it is played by Steve Bassett and The Mystic Soul Bubbas.
