Friday Flags: A Vacation Opportunity
As we near the end of the vacation and start to head back to the balmy New England winter, I stopped for an opportunity to take these shots, as well as allowing my wife to browse at some outlet stores.
While walking across the parking lot, I saw the flutter and as it wasn't quite yet ready, it was teasing.
Like the little engine that could, I knew if I waited long enough the wind would allow Old Glory to fully extend.
And that's exactly what happened, and as though to reward me for my patience, it stayed up there and fluttered long enough for me to grab a few great shots.
It is never a boring view for this veteran.
