My Active Rain/ New Localism wish list

First of all, I must say "Thank You" to the Active Rain contributors who has been so brilliant about launching Active Rain, Localism and the new Localism. It's work of a super genius! I do plan to use my new Localism blog as my main real estate blog and perhaps drop the Blogspot and Wordpress. There is just too many systems/ places to maintain and they havent really ranked better than my Active Rain/ Localism blogs anyways. Like everything though, there is always room for improvements so once a upon a wish, here are some of my thoughts that I wish I could make improvements on my new Localism website:

Capitalized Title:

I wished it's not that case. I'm just super sensitive to all upper case letters. It's been know that it indicated "screaming" on email and the web. I wish we had a choice of changing that.

My Settings Capability:

If there is a way that I can customize my settings to something similar to my Active Rain Settings with <html> capability under Blog Description on the main AR site. As you noticed, I've added some cool buttons to link my readers to important hyperlinks on my website. Perhaps some important widgets could go on here too.

Adding Hyperlinks to the top of blog under the Banner:

I feel that it would be so cool if that be a possibility. I could add specific hyperlinks to my main real estate website to bring readers there. See example.

I could really see that with the possibility of customizing the New Localism even more, I may be able to use the new Localism as my main real estate website. Now, only if my wishes can come true!

Dont get me wrong. I feel that it's already pretty darn good or nice of Active Rain for launching the Outside Blogs - and did I mention something this great for free?

Loreena, I just want my General Info Localism posts to show up. Not a one has made it to Localism yet. Localism (beta) included them all. No one is listening to me. All they put on Localism is my most recent comments which I nor a reader I think even cares about.

Andy: Most definitely. I know that if we spend our time to build a good Active Rain site, it will pay off in the end.

Miriam: Me too :)

Connie: Thanks for the wonderful complements.

Gary: Hmmmm..... I think my general posts dont show up too. Have you tried selecting a Region instead of the General radio button?

Loreena, I didn't select a region on the radio button because I selected the general info button. A region button might work but it doesn't fit the category of the post. The author may be in a Region but not the post topic. It's been highly frustrating to me, and something I cannot get an answer on.

Loreena, Thank you for writing this blog post! I love that we don't really need to do any thinking about what to build next, since our members tell us.  I am bookmarking this post for our next rounds of development.

Good points:) Wish the builders would answer those of us experiencing issues or would that be considered remodelers?

It's a Good Life!
