The City of Nashua and the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce will host the Fifth Annual Back to School celebration
WHEN: Thursday, August 21st
TIME: 5:00 to 6:30 P.M.
WHERE: Library Plaza and in the Library (Nashua)
Parents and children are encouraged to particiapte. More than 1500 attended this celebration last year!
- School supplies will be handed out to children - from first grade through high school
- Families will have the opportunity to get information about programs and services offered;
Donations can include:
- pencils, pens, erasers, calculators, notebooks, pencil bags, index cards, scissors, notebook paper, clips, backpacks, dictionaries, or anything that will make returning to school an exciting experience.
- Recycle extra pads of paper, post-its, pens, rulers, backpacks etc.
You can also donate money or a backpack full of items from approx $20-$30.

Donations can be dropped of at the Chamber office on 151 Main Street.

This is a great way to do some marketing and to help kids with the supplies they will need to go back to school.
Recycle those old lunch boxes, backpacks , binders, pencils, pens, book covers and other other items that a kid can use.
Note: Last year free Shuttle bus service to and from the event was available from Amherst Street School, Sargent Ave entrance, and the front entrances at Dr. Crisp, Fairgrounds Elementary, and Ledge Street schools. Check with these schools to see if busses will be available.
