I am still all excited about this year's Tech Tune-Up, that the Williamson County Association of Realtors, held on Sept. 5th in Round Rock, Tx. This was our second annual one day trade show held for the Williamson Co and surrounding area's Realtors. It was all about the latest and greatest technology that we can use to make business more effective and efficient. We had 15 vendors, 20 different classes on Technology and the use of it in how we do our marketing, doing CMA's, Smart Phones, etc. I can't list all the vendors but here are a few names: Drivebuy Technology (whom I have blogged about many times), VTX Solutions, Top Producer, Sendout cards, ATT, We Taser (which is a blog in itself) and many more. We had sponsors as well, that helped with lunch and the all day coffee bar. We had Max Pigman as our speaker and for those of you that don't know, he is a VP at Realtor.com. He was awesome!! His staff was great as well.
In the afternoon, we had a Peer Panel with Avis Wukash, Sam Chapman, Dee Copeland and Edward Lui as speakers. Avis is Past President of the Texas Real Estate Association and very involved with them on many committees. Sam, Dee and Edward are local Realtor's & bloggers who have a reputation for putting out good information. This panel discussed best usage of your IDX and websites, blogging tips, dos and don'ts on blogging and ways to generate and close web leads. It was so packed of great information.
All in all the day was fantastic, we had an unbelievable turnout. So good in fact, our vendors have already committed for next year which will make my life alot easier.
