Be careful what you ...Did?

I wanted to share with all of you a comment made at one of my Listing appointments this week. The Sellers wanted to research Agents before they interviewed them. I am used to this, but I was surprised at how in depth they were. Pictures are important to showing a homes best qualities. Our new clients reviewed all that they could about our previous listings, pictures, wording, marketing and all. We were all ready half way through our appointment before we walked in the door.

I like working with savvy clients, and I am honored that they chose our team. I did think it would be a good reminder to all of us, especially now, that we may think that once we sell a house it is on to the next, but it may be that same home that makes the difference between listing a home or not years into the future.

Customers are doing more research than ever - before they select an agent.  It makes the process so much easier in some respects.

I wish clients researched the misrepresentations agents make when interviewing for a listing.

Dinah, some day (hopefully soon) buyers and sellers internet research will provide them with enough information to disseminate if the agent is ethical.

I have gotten a few listings in the last year where the people did their research online to find a Realtor.  And luckily they picked me.

Computer literate sellers only need to go to the inter net and keyword to get there answerer's. They should be able to make a decision on whom they want representing them with just that info.

I love your responses. It sounds like I just heard from the kind of Agents who care about their clients- the kind I would hire if I was going to sell my home. Thank you for the replies-Dinah Lee
