I have four photographs that I took last Saturday 1-17-2009 at Lake Mead in Nevada. The temperature was around 75 degrees and it was beautiful.

I would like some opinions and number ratings on the photographs.

Robert Great Photos as always, I think they all deserve 10's But Photo #3 would be 10+ in my book. They all look so real, you could just reach out and touch the water.

Robert... Being a photographer, I probably have a more "critical" eye than most folks so here goes...

1 - 8 ~ good lighting through the wings, clear background etc...

2 - 4 ~ Although the starburst caused by the aperture looks cool, the rest of the photo is underexposed being too backlit...

3 - 5 ~ Good subject matter, but photo would have been better if they were shot at an angle instead of head on...

4 - 9 - Good silhouettes of the palms against the evening sky...

I am real critical of my work and I undergo the same critiques when I take my pictures. This way I am constantly perfecting my art. Please don't take this critique personally...

Morning Robert,

Nice to hear the temperatures have improved. When we were there a couple of weeks ago the high was in the mid 40's.

My favorite of number 3....the water is awesome!

As to ratings....all I can say is that I enjoyed the entire presentation.

I like 1 and 4 very much and would give them a 9. I don't care for 2 so much, just my opinion/preference and I like 3 and give it a 7. I am pretty picky and look at a lot of photos because my daughter has a Rebel and shoots a lot. Hope you don't take offense to my honesty I think you take some very creative images.
