Great picture as always. I know you are a great photographer and Realtor, are you a pilot as well?
Johnnie
It sure is. That is amazing. I have only been in a small plane once. I was on vacation with my parents when I was a kid at the Outer Banks in North Carolina. We flew in one of the planes that carry the advertisments. You could see the shipwrecks under the water. That might be a good way to advertize real estate business.
Hi Randy-Really cool photo. I scanned back thru and saw a lot of really spectacular pics you have taken. Enjoy your evening.
Looks like you were standing on the wing to take this picture. An awesome view!
Now that looks like a grand place I would love to see from the sky!
your friend in Charlottesville!
Yep. It is grand. I love the Wordless Wednesday photos. And this one is spectacular. But I have to ask the same, or similar question as everyone else. Were you flying the plane yourself, standing on the wing, etc? LOL
Randy,
It's very grand, oh I come from the Grand Canyon State and the biggest city near it.
Johnathan
Johnnie,
Thanks, no I am not a pilot. My brother in law built the plane and was flying it while he took the picture of the mouth of the Grand Canyon. He shared it with me to post. I have flown a small plane before and it is a trip.
Frank,
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Nate,
It is quite a defferent feeling from flying in the big commercial planes isn't it?
Pat,
No, it was my brother in law who also built the plane.
Terri,
Not too thrilled with heights huh? Thanks for your comment.
Sharon,
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the trip. I have certainly enjoyed mine over the years gathering pictures. This is a fun place and way to share them.
Marchel,
Gives it a great effect doesn't it.
Leolinda,
He was sitting in the pilots seat when he took this. not a very big plane and not a very log wing. Thanks for you comment.
Charles,
It is the mouth of the Grand Canyon.
Debi,
Now you tell me. What was I thinking?
Lisa,
As you may have seen from the above comments my brother in law let me use the picture he took as he was flying the plane he built.
Tony & Libby,
Thank you. You are kind to come by and comment.
Jonathon,
So you live close to the big crack? Sure is a pretty area.
Nice photo Randy. I almost made to the Big Crack once and maybe I'll get there someday. I'm sure it's even more Grand in person.
Randy,
Beautiful aerial photo! Thank you for sharing this view of the Grand Canyon from the sky.
