| “You really are efficient and professional!! You are a model for what a real estate person should be and should do! Jim sent me a check for one-half of what he owes me for the floor covering, painting, clutter removal, etc. I am not pushing him for the other half but will assume that he will pay it. I didn't want to submit all of those bills to you to have taken out at closing because it would just muddy the water and it was easier to handle it between the two of us. Thank you again. Jim is much more relaxed now and has, with the guidance of a bank representative, divided the proceeds accordingly into appropriate accounts. Hooray!” “I thank you again for selling my brother's house on Knox Ct. I think the timing was so, so fortunate. Jim had the best few months of many, many years when he moved back to Lorain, Ohio. We obtained an assisted living apartment for him and my Aunt and cousin took him many places. The three of them came to visit us in New York (south of Rochester) while we were there for a couple of months in the summer and he loved it. He went to some high school football games to watch his cousin's grandson play in the marching band; he met them every Sunday at church and then went out for lunch with a group; he even joined the Senior Men's group at the Senior Center. He reconnected with two old high school buddies and then went with some friends to Bowling Green University's Alumni Celebration. He was a graduate of Bowling Green. However, his poor health caught up with him and he passed away on September 17. I flew to Lorain from Florida and made arrangements for his cremation and inurnment in our parents' crypt. I also arranged for a private family memorial dinner at the same restaurant we reserved for each of our parents' memorial. It was a wonderfully loving time for 28 of our family members. All in all, our choices of moving him and selling the house were right on target. That makes settling the estate so much easier and you really were wonderful in getting him through the process. He was not always pleasant to deal with, even for family members, but you did very, very well and he really liked talking with you.
