Via Steve Combs (First County Mortgage): Sure you've read that today is a great time to buy a home. And, after consideration of the facts, now you're in agreement. But, if you currently own a home and are tossing around the idea of moving, should you sell now? ...In this "market"? With all due respect to the main stream media but by the time they report this, the brevity of the opportunity of NOW might have passed. Consider the following points and decide for yourself if you should list now. Higher Interest Rates Are Coming! – Less Buyers Will Be Able (2 comments)

12 Ways To Cut Your Taxes - 03/17/10 07:20 AM
It is always good to remember... Via Ron Tiller (Five Star Real Estate - Grand rapids MI): Last year, Congress extended the homebuyer tax credit to include more than first-time home buyers. Now those who are buying a replacement home are eligible, in the majority of cases, for a tax credit, in most cases, of $6,500.Even if you buy this year, as long as you have the purchase under contract by April 30th and close by June 30th you can claim the credit on your 2009 or 2010 return. There are a couple of qualifiers but, in most cases, they are not problematic. (1 comments)

If you never can remember whether clocks go forward or back, memorize this simple phrase: 'Spring Forward, Fall Back'. In spring clocks 'spring forward' an hour and in the fall they fall or go back an hour. That is how I remember! Why March 14 - It always happens on the second Sunday in March. Via Kathy Nielsen Atlanta Georgia Home Stager (Georgia Interior Solutions, LLC): Will home staging this Grant Park home in Atlanta, Georgia help it sell more quickly? I firmly believe that it will. Home staging, when done properly, will absolutely help to engage the buyer on an emotional level. Using the "eye-of-the-buyer" in all of my home staging design plans, my goal is to capture the essence of the home and make it appealing to a broad base of prospective buyers. Here are a few before and after pictures of this Grant Park home we home staged just yesterday. Master Bedroom before (2 comments)
Via Kathy Nielsen Atlanta Georgia Home Stager (Georgia Interior Solutions, LLC):
Knowing where the lockbox is going is important. Learn why.
As a professional home stager in Atlanta, one of the very first questions I'll ask the real estate agent is where the lockbox to the home is going to be located. That single question can make a significant difference. It's a question that all home sellers should be asking their real estate agent. Why is that question important? It's where the agents who bring the buyers to see your home will be entering. If you're use (1 comments)
TO BUY OR NOT TO BUY, THAT IS THE QUESTION - 03/09/10 08:29 PM
Home ownership is still the "American Dream" and if you plan to stay in one place for at least a few years, there has never been a better time to buy. Although it is likely our dreams are more modest than in the past, the great majority of Americans would prefer to own their home rather than rent. "Owning a home" may also have a different definition that it did just a few short years ago. Maybe then, it meant we were making a mortgage payment rather than paying rent. Now it means we have finished making the mortgage payments. We (6 comments)
Via Michelle Roberts (Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty): INSPIRATION FOR TODAY: "The path you're on looks different when you turn around." - Cynthia Copeland Lewis LOOK BACK TO THE FUTURE! Life has been described as a path, a direction in which we travel over time - rather than a single event. Each of us gets to choose the direction our path will take us. By making those choices, we also clear the way to achieving the objectives we've set for ourselves. When we fail to choose the path we will travel, that is also a choice. Via Kathy Nielsen Atlanta Georgia Home Stager (Georgia Interior Solutions, LLC): Confused on how to re-arrange your room when selling? You’re not alone. The question; "how do I arrange the furniture?" is perhaps the most frequently asked questions I receive as a professional home stager in Atlanta. And with reason. Most sellers have seen enough shows on TV to understand that there's a need to change. However, they're challenged on exactly what changes would benefit them the most. Let's begin with reviewing the objective: The objective for the seller is to showcase the features as well as the space the home has to offer. How (1 comments)
