TORONTO - The Woodstock General Hospital project reached a significant milestone today with the release of a request for qualifications (RFQ) for project teams to build, finance and maintain hard services at the new Woodstock General Hospital.
This is the first step in selecting the project team responsible for over 300,000 square feet of new construction that will replace the aging, existing community hospital in Woodstock and bring new regional programs and services to Woodstock and Oxford County.

WOODSTOCK May 9, 2007: In November 2005, the McGuinty government announced plans to open 39 new Community Health Centres and satellite Community Health Centres with an investment of $74.6 million by March 2008. Over the course of the summer and fall of 2006, several public forums and service provider information gathering sessions were held in Woodstock, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg. From Woodstock Mayor, Michael Harding WOODSTOCK, ON, May 23: The Government of Canada, the Government of Ontario and the County of Oxford held a ribbon-cutting ceremony today to mark the official opening of Homestead Christian Care's Supported Independent Living Apartments, an affordable housing project that provides rental units for lower-income families and single persons under the Canada-Ontario Affordable Housing Program.
