As of tomorrow 1/31/08 at 11:59 PM the last cigarettes will be smoked in Maryland area bars as the new law will become effective making it illegal to smoke in bars throughout the state!  This is just another reason to move to Maryland!

I am doing a training class for newer agents in my office this evening and have not yet prepared an outline for tonights class!  There are many many reasons for this, mainly because I have been busier than ever this month with 3 sales already, oh yeah that's right, I also have a six week old at home!!!

Since 90% (the last number I remember hearing) of people start their home search online, I decided that one of my goals for 2008 is to tweak my marketing plan a little more to show my sellers just how much I really do for them and thought that you all here on AR could benefit from this post as well (especially if we all contribute something extra below that we do to market our listings online)!

I was just thrilled when I read an article in one of our top local papers here in Maryland today from the Baltimore Sun.  In the article, "NAR economist says Baltimore housing has bottomed out", Lawrence Yun (NAR's Chief economist) stated "This area will be very interesting to watch because there's very solid economic growth, but people aren't buying homes."  He added "Ten years from now, people will look back at 2008 and say, 'Wow, that was a great time to become a homeowner.'"  My local board, the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors also announced that they are getting ready to spend $50,000 on … (0 comments)
