I just read an email from Remax.  The information was about extending the tax credit.  As many of you who are considering buying Laurel real estate know, the tax credit ends at the end of November.
There is currently a big rush of buyers trying to purchase a home before the end of November. Most buyers who call me are well aware of the dead lines.

First time buyers of Laurel Md real estate, need to hurry.  The $8000 federal tax credit for first time home buyers is about to expire.  If you are interested in taking advantage of the tax credit you probably need to be under contract within the next 30 days.
If you have been reading the paper, you probably know that the amount of Maryland homes for sale has been shrinking.  To take advantage of the tax credit and have more choices, first time Maryland home buyers need to buy very soon.

The government's $8000 tax credit for first time home buyers is set to end at the end of November.  In addition, the $10,00 grant for first time home buyers is running out of money.
Thats $18,000 of FREE money you could miss out on if you don't buy a home soon!
If you have a $300,000 mortgage, $18,000 would pay for your first nine months in the house.  Throw in your interest deduction and you are practically living in the home for FREE the first year.

Great news for all first time home buyers of Laurel real estate.  The federal government will give all first time home buyers a $7500 tax credit the first year they own their home.  In fact, this credit is available to all first time home buyers of any Maryland real estate.
