Douglas Pop Warner Little Scholars Awards Three Scholarships to Graduating Seniors in Carson Valley The Douglas Pop Warner Board of Directors recently awarded their 2011 Scholarships. DPW gives two $1,000 scholarships to graduating Seniors that played Pop Warner primarily based on their essay on the topic "What Pop Warner meant to me." According to President, Jim Valentine, this year the candidates were of such quality that the Board decided to award a third $1,000 scholarship. Scholarship recipients are Douglas High seniors Adrian Romanowitz, Dillon Spates and Ben Reed. Thanks Tigers for just being the great people you are! Life Time Memories were made Last Night! Our two Mity Mite teams played each other last night! Shook Hands before the game! Ran through a banner together, all the parents sat on the same side, finished the game by chanting "Douglas Tigers" together at mid field.
