The Texas Veterans Land Board (VLB) is a tremendous benefit for Texas veterans. It seems to not get enough reach to eligible Texas veterans. All veterans looking to purchase a home or land need to see if any VLB programs will benefit you. Eligibility requirements can be found on their web site at http://www.glo.state.tx.us/vlb/ . From the days of the Texas Republic, Texas has given veterans land in recognition of their military service.
