community events: 2008 Prince George Cancer/AIDS walks!! - 05/22/08 12:04 PM
The Prince George Relay for life held Saturday, May 10, to Sunday, May 11, was a great success! Again, new records were set in several areas..over $450, 000 was raised, at least $40, 000 more than last year. There were 15 more teams, for a total of 155, and about 400 more participants. Good job Prince George!
We don't want to forget the AIDS walk, an annual fundraiser for the AIDS/HIV support agency Positive Living North, scheduled for Saturday, May 24, as well. Registration begins at 10:00am, at the Fire Pit (1120 3rd Ave, Prince George, BC). According to Northern Health, it looks as … (1 comments)
