Will You or I be Arrested if We Visit Fort Lauderdale? Will you or I be arrested if we visit Fort Lauderdale? This is no joke, I am very serious. 
The city of Fort Lauderdale has a policy banning all photography within hundreds of yards of a Hollywood movie set.
It doesn't matter if you are paparazzi, a professional photographer or just an amateur  -- you are not allowed to take any photos even with your cell phone.

Health Care - We Are #37
Medical care in this country is a disaster.  Insurance that costs $1200 per month here will cost approximately $70 per month for similar coverage in Ecuador. The last time the World Health Organization ranked countries by the quality of their health care, the US came in at #37 with countries such as Costa Rica, Chile, Columbia, Dominica, Morocco and Oman above us. (The rankings probably have not changed much.)

How do You deal with stress?
 
Everyone says real estate is stressful for everyone involved, Buyers, Sellers, lenders, escrow officers, inspectors and even real estate agents.
 
The US Bureau of Labor Statistics says that in June 2009, there were 14,729,000 unemployed in the US.  I bet they think it is stressful.  And what of the unemployed who have given up and don't show on the stats? That might be stressful too.
 
In 2008, over 1,000,000 people lost their homes to foreclosures.  Maybe, that is stressful.
 
 But true stress is working for the government.
