There are currently 37 homes for sale in York Maine under 250K. The number of affordable homes in York Maine has increased over the last few years with the prices having come down. In the 200-250K price range in York, there are 19. Of the 19 homes, 6 of them are condo's and one is seasonal, leaving 12 single family year-round York Maine homes under 250K.

In many regions of maine, affordable homes had become very difficult to find. Everyone has a different definiation of what an affordable home is as well. Obviously what is an affordable home for one person is not for another. Likewise, the job market and salary range varies in different parts of the State of Maine.

York County Home sales Increase 41.95% year over year - 03/05/10 07:28 AM
York County Housing sales took a dramatic rise for the 3 month comparing November through January in 2008/9 to the same period in 2009/10. The number of existing single family homes sold rose from 298 to 423, and increase of nearly 42%. During the same period, the Median sales price remained steady, dipping only one half of one percent from $200,500 to $199,500.
