home: Real Estate:A home and investment - 11/21/08 07:31 AM
The question occasionally comes up lately:

home: Incredible interest rates - 09/17/08 06:50 AM
For those that having been keeping up, the mortgage interest rates have been very low. The 30 year fixed rate yesterday was hovering around 5 7/8% and the FHA 30 year mortgage was at 5.5%. These are incredible times for buying a home...very low rates...a great deal of inventory of homes.

home: Give your kids a chance...buy an investment property. - 08/27/08 07:28 AM
The price of college has increased dramatically over the years. One excellent way to fund your kid's college is to buy a house or townhome when they are young. By doing so and putting a 15 year mortgage on it, it can provide an income stream when they hit college age.

home: To sell or not to sell? - 08/20/08 07:59 AM
It's a question that's asked every day. For those who are buying as well as selling in today's real estate market, it's usually a time to take action. Although a home you're selling may not be at the height of the market, the home you're buying isn't either. Often times you

home: Many first time homebuyers buying Townhomes - 08/13/08 10:41 AM
With all the incredible deals and incentives that builders are offering as well as well-priced existing townhomes, many first time homebuyers are buying townhomes. Many of these townhomes are at 2002 prices or below. Can't blame buyers for taking advantage of these deals...they also make a great investment.

home: Home inspections - 07/02/08 07:13 AM
Home inspections have become more and more popular over the last 10-15 years. When looking at homes, it's difficult to spend much time at each home and quite difficult to notice hidden issues. It's well worth the money (typically $325-$400) for a home inspection...

home: Multiple offers in today's market - 06/11/08 11:07 AM
Most buyers assume that all homes for sale will stay on the market for a long time. Homes that are well-priced, show well and aggressively marketed usually sell in a reasonable amount of time. As a matter of fact, I have received multiple offers on 2 homes this year!
