Art In The Park returns to Elgin Park
If you are looking for a pleasant way to spend an idyllic summer afternoon, a trip to Elgin Park in Uxbridge just might fit the bill. Wander about under the canopy of trees as you enjoy the shaded display of a wide range of professional and non professional artists who live and create their works in Uxbridge. In addition many Artist from across Ontario will also be present at Art In The Park.

Are you are a Folk 'N Blues fan? Then the Uxbridge Folk 'N Blues Festival at the Music Hall here in Uxbridge is the place to be this evening and for the next three evenings.
Enjoy some great Folk "'N Blues Music while supporting local youth initiatives as the proceeds from the Uxbridge Folk 'N Blues festival will be goin to local youth charities, the Uxbridge Music Scholarship and the Uxbridge Youth Centre. All of the proceeds from bar, hosted by the Uxbridge Lions, will help them support their endeavors.

Performing original songs written by Cris the Cris Cuddy Acoustic Unit (CCAU) delivers a clean acoustic sound rich with vocal harmonies and character that covers the many genres of Cris's music from Blues to Rock and Country to Bluegrass.
This performance will be recorded to produce a live recording for an upcoming CD to be released early in July.

As you stroll through the park, take time to watch some of the artist at work, talk to the artists or sit and watch the children in the play/art area as you partake of the scrumptious food from the various food vendors.
Art In The Park has been an annual event here in Uxbridge since 1995
Elgin Park is located in the south central part of Uxbridge in Durham Region which is about 45 min. north and east of Toronto and can be reached easily from the 401 or 404.

The last Friday concert of the regular schedule features Ewan Dawson. Dawson has captured first place in nearly every single classical competition across the country. He also captured 3rd in Winfield, Kansas at the 38th annual Finger Style Guitar Championship.
Dawson started out playing Heavy Metal and Hard Rock and now after working his way through the structured discipline of classical training has expanded to include Bluegrass, Canadian Folk, Techno, Trance, Video Game, and contemporary finger style music.
