It is an axiom in real estate that if a house is not selling it is probably over priced -- that every house will sell at the right price. I am finding, though, that finding that price is getting harder and harder. Back in the days of the frenzy, it was difficult to find a "right" price because people were lined up to buy a house at any price. A while back a Seller was really adamant that I make sure their home was on Realtor.com "with the yellow border". Well, I went ahead and got the Realtor.com Enhanced Listing Package (at no small expense) and also their Featured Home package for one zip code (also not cheap). The idea was that my listing would get soooo much more exposure and I would be able to customize my listings with additional photos, virtual tour, scrolling text, custom text description and more.
