Tomorrow, Thursday November 20th, 2014 is the big night for the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony! At 6:00 p.m. the program will begin and the tree will be lit by Anna King who is a heart transplant recipient at 7:00 p.m. Each year a deserving child is chosen to have the honor of lighting the tree.

A new burger concept has opened its doors in The Woodlands recently. The Counter is a gourmet, build-your-own burger restaurant located in Market Street. The decor is soothing yet somewhat eclectic and boasting a full bar. A very casual experience. I ate there recently and enjoyed a fabulous burger. 2nd ANNUAL STILETTO SPRINT ~ THE WOODLANDS, TX ~ A SUCCESS! The 2nd Annual Stilletto Sprint this morning at Market Street was again a success. It was great seeing all of the participants and spectators out bright and early and seeing all of the PINK! Also as one man exclaimed, those legs were looking good in those heels! The event benefits breast cancer research which is a wonderful and worthy cause. So many of us have been affected by this dreaded disease with a friend, family member or personally.
