concert: Sheryl Crow on Maui

Once again Maui was privileged to have a live concert at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center (MACC). This time is was Sherly Crow with a live performance that was "outta sight"! Hawaii continues to be a favored destination by entertainers and those of us living here benefit by having a place for them to perform. Having lived on the East Coast for many years, I can attest to another benefit which is that access is easy and crowds quickly dissipate afterward. concert: Jimmy Buffet in Concert on Maui

Once again Hawaii gets to enjoy live professional entertainment, this time with Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reef Band performing at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. What a show it was! He played my two favorites "Brown-Eyed Girl" and "Margaritaville" with the latter saved until the end of the performance. Buffett was joined onstage by Hawaii ukulele phenomenon Jake Shimabukuro who added to the enjoyment of the local audience. The crowd included some parrotheads and lots of beach balls tossed around druing the performance. At the end, a couple of the beach balls morphed into whales that were tossed around … (5 comments)
