The Canadian Real Estate Association has just released an app in the iTunes store. The app is similar to the one created by Realtor.com. This is great news for Canadian Home Buyers. I have downloaded it and tried it. In my opinion this app is great for people looking to buy a home. It is very easy to use, it's FREE and it works very well. I received an inquiry from someone looking at one of my properties for sale. The person was a bit put off by the fact that he could not visit the property until tomorrow. The other issue he had was why are we waiting for Sunday to look at offers. Why can't we look at an offer if we have one on the table today?

The Ottawa Real Estate market is still going strong. It is still a seller's market and the properties that come on the market, that are priced right and show well sell quickly. We are still seeing some multiple offers on many homes. The warm weather, which came a bit early this year, and lack of snow made many buyers come out sooner to look for their dream home.
The average sale price is still on the rise, which is great for sellers but sometimes not the greatest for Buyers out there.
