Blogging with writers block - 09/28/07 08:24 PM
I haven't posted for a while. Been a little busy. Set up a private blog for Brokerage owners. Found a new office and have been very involved in planning the move. Recruited 2 agents, and I'm talking to 3 more. With all that going on, you would think I'd have a bunch of subjects ready to burst. I did lots of thinking while writing my other posts. How great Wichita Kansas is doing - 09/04/07 06:15 AM
I pity the rest of the country. I've watched so many of my friends in Florida, California, Vegas, and more suffering in Real Estate. While I feel for you, I'm glad that in Wichita we just keep chugging along. Article in yesterdays newspaper said we had the 2nd fastest growing average wage in the country, and we're close to the national average for weekly wage earnings. Around $44,000 per year. Probably doesn't seem like much to many parts of the country, but consider our average home costs around $120,000. What can you get for that? 3 bdrms, 2 bths, 2 car garage

Do Realtors really need a private office? - 09/03/07 06:43 PM
I have a vision. 1 central office for all the paperwork-computers and networks, teaching and meetings. Then a bunch of satellite offices around the city. Meeting rooms for clients, sign Storage, work space, networked computers printers and phones. Anyone in the company can stop in at any time to use the facility. Imagine 5-10 of these around town. You can stop into whichever one is nearest with your client. Handy, fast, easy. So why do I hava a problem? I currently have an office with 20 cubicles in it. Realtors have a private desk, phone, place to work. I look around most days
