I just wanted to make a quick post about the current market. I am writing this on June 19th, 2008 so you have a referance as to when this was written. Currently our market is what I would call soft. Homes under $200,000 are still selling within 30-60 days but homes over $300,000 are up to around 90-120 days and usually sellers are offering some sort of concession such as paying buyers closing costs, paying upgrades or discounting the price by as much as 15%. Homes in the $200,000 to $300,000 range are sort of in the middle of the two

Its has been a while since I posted so I just wanted to write a small post about our local market. Cedar City real estate it tied with Las Vegas in a way and lately our prices for homes over $300,000 have been declining. What has been nice is homes under $300,000 have stayed strong dispite the hard to get mortgages, investors and general fear in the market place. I feel this correction has been extremely benifical for our area. The correction has allowed homes to come back down to reasonable limits and made them more affordable for people who are
