As of September 24, 2007, there are 1,264 residential properties listed for sale.  So far this year 1,530 residential properties have sold, 402 have expired (the property didn't sell and the listing contract ran out), and 685 have been withdrawn from the market.   The average days on market is currently at 90 days.

Cabela's Is Coming To Rapid City! - 09/19/07 12:09 PM
For those of you who haven't heard, it appears to be official that Cabela's will be coming to Rapid City.  A recent public vote approved the transfer of thirty acres of land to Cabela's as part of an incentive deal to ensure they build in Rapid City.  Also included in the incentive deal is two million dollars in economic development funds.  Cabela's will be building their 80,000 square foot storefront out by the Black Hills Visitor Information Center.  They will start building mid-October and hope to be open within ten months.

Casey Real Estate Team Has Gone Green! - 09/01/07 05:30 PM
Recently, Casey Real Estate Team has gone green!  This last week we picked up our 2007 Toyota Prius.  Our goal is to be more efficient.  Economically we'll be saving tons at the gas station!  And, our Prius comes equipped with a GPS Navigational System...so, we'll be able to easily locate any house in the Black Hills!  For the first tank of gas we average about 45mpg.  We drove in town and out of town.  I think we need to "relearn" how to drive too...in order to get the maximum savings and benefits from driving the Prius.  But it sure feels good … (0 comments)

If you are a buyer...it's a good time for you!  With an over supply of houses on the market, you have plenty to choose from!  If you are a seller, it's important that you price your house very well in order to move it!
