I was fortunate enough to stumble upon Alpenland Delicatessen on Mercer Island, WA one day back in December and thought I'd share this with my readers. This quaint shop sits tucked away inside a small strip of businesses on 2707 78th Avenue SE on Mercer Island. Alpenland Delicatessen serves great sandwiches, salads, soups, and something I have never seen or tasted before, the Pretzel roll, which is only sold Thursday, Friday and Saturday or until the Pretzel rolls sell out, and they do sell out fast!
