Monday night football was the Baltimore Ravens playing in Cincinnatti. The Bengals looked strong and came from behind to win.
Baltimore lost 20 to 27. What a finish. The cries in Baltimore were painful.

Better luck next week.

I'm getting on the phone to Brian to see if he needs me to play next week!

The MAR Convention - Day 1 
What a beautiful day on Monday it was- such a shame to be stuck inside a large dark convention center. But we are all here to be educated!
MRIS which is our regional MLS provider offered a very informative class on how to "Get the best out of your web site". The presenter was very engaging and had an excellent power point presentation. A lot of the substance I have already found by reading posts on Active Rain.
The best news was the announcement that "UPSHOT" is going away.

Our once a year pilgrimage to the Maryland Association of Realtors Conference in Ocean City begins today. The weather is beautiful and the vendor list is vast. Lots of CE credit on offer too.
Last night we were invited to the hottest ticket in town at "Macky's". Props once again (this was the 4th year in a row I have attended) to FNMC a division of National City Mortgage who hosted a huge shindig with food and an open bar. My Son Drew, just celebrated his first year in Real Estate....literally.
He has shown houses, (The first few months were definitely easier....for me) been present for contract signings, celebrated at "House Warming" parties, waited patiently for his dinner while I have taken client calls in the evening, endured long drives to drop off HOA docs and has been hugged, tweaked and kissed by many of my clients this past year.

How many more houses will I have to show in EVERY price range that does not "fit the bill" because it does not have a whirlpool bath tub?
The best part is that when I am back to list your home a few years later because you are ready to find a wonderful new home for your expanding family I will always ask you, "So, how often did you use the whirlpool tub" More often than not I get the sheepish look and then the confession that it was maybe used 5 times and that was in the first 6 months.

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. -- A Riviera Beach man has as many grandchildren as candles on his birthday cake -- about 100.
Cleve Dixon's 101st birthday is on Wednesday. Born on Sept. 5, 1906, Dixon had 11 children who have produced about 100 children among them. Most of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were on hand for his barbecue party Monday.
"I've been in this world a long time," he told his family after they sang "Happy Birthday." "I've been in this house 42 years. I'm thinking I'll be here 42 more. I feel happy."
