Several years ago when I started building Wordpress blogs for real estate, it was very hard to convince clients that "this is the wave of the future." Agents loved their Point2Agent, AdvancedAccess, Z57, OneParkPlace...and on and on...template websites.

The objections were that not a lot of real estate agents were blogging and using this format for their site. Basically, there were not enough results to encourage people to make the move.

Fast forward years later to to 2011...every type of business owner realizes a strong Internet presence is key for survival and even more are acknowledging that blogging … (14 comments)

Some of the physicians understood but others took it as a personal attack of their work to achieve the designation with various medical societies and insisted that they all be included.
As a real estate agent, you have your NAR accredited designations, REO designations are popping up from everywhere that some asset managers require of you, luxury designation from various institutes and groups, and on and on and on. You too, … (30 comments)

real estate: Blogging is the new way for gorilla advertising! - 05/17/09 08:23 AM
No longer do agents have to spend thousands of their hard earned dollars to get a list of names to send direct sales copy to. Those of us foolish enough to have bought names in the past know the small chance they will actually turn into a sale but it is how businesses have advertised for many, many years.
