Tomorrow is the deadline for requesting bus transportation from Guilford County Schools for the 2011-12 school year.  If your student is attending a new school, a magnet school or has had any change in home address or pick-up/drop-off arrangements, it is best to complete this application to ensure a smooth bus experience once school begins.

Guilford County Schools, which serves students in Greensboro, High Point, Summerfield, Oak Ridge and other communities throughout the Triad, has announced the make up days for the four days that students missed this week due to the snow. 
Students will pay for the four days of sleeping with a shortened spring break and a longer school year!  Guilford County students will now attend school on April 18, 19 and 25 and June 10.

Attention Guilford County students and parents!  Guilford County Schools, which includes schools in Greensboro, High Point, Jamestown, Oak Ridge, Summerfield and areas throughout the Triad, has announced student make-up days for the two days when school was closed last week due to the ice and snow. 
Although most children were thrilled to have last Thursday and Friday off, it will mean that they have to return to school earlier from winter break.  School will now be in session on Monday, January 3.  The other make up day is scheduled for Friday, February 25.  These were originally scheduled as teacher work days.

Guilford County Schools, which serves Greensboro, NC and surrounding cities including High Point, Jamestown, Summerfield and Oak Ridge, has posted the Guilford County Schools 2010-2011 calendar. 
Most Guilford County Schools start next Wednesday, August 25th but some public and private schools have already started.  Early College at Guilford College started over a week ago, as did several of the Guilford County magnet and choice schools. 
So get those haircuts and purchase those last few elusive school supplies because school starts soon!
