The million dollar housing market always stirs some interest.  The Dobbs Team was curious about Louisville KY million dollar home sales and decided to do a little investigation.

 
 In 2011 there were 21 homes that sold in excess of a million dollars in the 5 county area of Greater Louisville.  All homes were existing homes with the exception of one that was new construction. Excluded were home sales that could be considered farms due to the number of acres with the property.  We found Jefferson and Oldham counties to be the only ones that met our qualifications.

AUTUMN RIDGE homes are in the Lyndon area.  They are located between La Grange Road and Westport Road about a mile east of the Watterson Expressway.  These all brick homes are in the Lyndon area (zip code 40242) and sell in the 200's.
 
Living in Autumn Ridge is a pleasure due to its proximity to shoppping, schools, expressways, etc. One of the newest developed areas would be Westport Village located right around the corner with an excess of 25 unique shops.

4509 Dumesnil St is a solid home on the most western part of Louisville KY.  This home has been in the family for 50 years and raised 2 fine children. 
 
 
 
Unusual in this neighborhood is the large 2-car garage.  There is room here for your hobbies or to even park a car.
 
 
 
It is less than a ½ mile to the Ohio River and watch the river traffic.  No worries here; the Metro Louisville Flood Wall is here to protect us.

4320 Lochridge Pkwy is Re-listed - 02/08/12 11:13 AM
4320 Lochridge Parkway has been re-listed and with a much lower price. Discussions with the seller were intense and we agreed to $175,000.  This is in contrast to the Zillow estimate of $196,400. Zillow website users will see this as a bargain and come running.

A lot of listings give a low price per square foot but they include the basement in their figures. 4320 Lochridge is priced at $69.42 per above ground square foot. What a deal!
