The NAR recently released the 2007 NAR Legal Scan, which it claims is it's most comprehensive study to date of legal issues and trends in the real estate industry.The historial data is based on research of court documents, states, regulations and jury verdict reports, involving 655 court cases and 112 statutes and regulations.  The study contains an appendix listing each case, statute and regulation with full legal citation by issue and jurisdiction. Medford Community Events: Annual Art, Music and Antiques Festival - 06/08/07 09:26 AM
The past Sunday was the annual Arts, Music and Antiques Festival hosted by the Medford Village Historical Society. This year we had the threat of rain hovering over the event.   The rains did come, but they held off with just a few sprinkles until later in the afternoon, so we we able to successfully hold the event while only shortening it by about an hour when the rains began coming steadily and gradually increasing in intensity.For those of you who attended and stopped by our booth, we thank you.  If you missed it, then plan for next year as the discussion … (0 comments)

Medford Lakes Community Events: Memorial Day - 06/08/07 08:58 AM
This past Memorial Day, Medford Lakes celebrated with it's traditional Memorial Day Parade lead off by the Shawnee marching band, following by the herd of kids in their decorated bikes and then follow by local officials and a huge line of police, fire and emergency vehicles from Medford Lakes and the surrounding communities of Medford, Southampton, Shamong, Evesham and Tabernacle townships and the Forest Service.  It was a surprisingly long and impressive line.The highlight of this event is when the parade ends up for memorial ceremonies at the Borough's municipal building (currently temporarily location while construction on the new log municipal building … (0 comments)

New Contingency Indicators for Listings Still Being Shown With An Agreement of Sale - 06/02/07 08:51 PM
